| Each public water systems must comply with the Public Notification regulations (§600) of the NNPDWR. The public notification requirements are divided into three tiers and ensure requirements for publicly notifying persons served by a public water system of any noncompliance with the NNSDWA and NNPDWR. §604 Tier 1 Public Notice: Required for NNPDWR violations and situations with significant potential to have serious adverse effects on human health as a result of short-term exposure. §604 Tier 1 Public Notice:
